Floran® products are specifically formulated for cleaning water infrastructure that can be taken out of service, particularly mission-critical infrastructure that must be returned to service quickly. Our products remove organic and inorganic deposits including iron, manganese, calcium, biomass, and algae. The Floran suite of products works offline on water tanks, filter bays, basins, air stripping towers, filter media, underdrains, and clearwells – virtually any component of the water treatment and storage system.
Removing organic and inorganic deposits from water infrastructure stabilizes free chlorine and chloramine residuals. Our products solve the root problem by also removing the biological substrates that lead to the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs). A powdered formulation used to remove organic and inorganic deposits on anthracite, sand, and other granular media. Treatment with neXt improves filter performance and extends media life providing a fast, convenient, and economical alternative to media replacement.
Filter Fit®
A low-corrosive formulation used to remove surface deposits from filtration basins, troughs, clarifiers, and other accessible water treatment plant surfaces. It is a specialized formulation for removing scale and algae buildup as well as potassium permanganate stains. Additional benefits include elimination of surface borne chlorine demand and removal of unsightly stains.
CSR Plus®
CSR Plus (Calcium Scale Remover Plus) removes calcium carbonate scale and other mineral deposits from filtration basins, troughs, clarifiers, and other accessible water treatment plant surfaces. It is also used to effectively clean air stripper media as an alternative to costly media replacement.
Top Ultra®
A low-corrosive formulation used on surfaces of storage tanks and basins for removal of both organic and inorganic deposits. Using Top Ultrareduces chlorine demand, reduces nitrification, lowers disinfection by-products and extends the lifetime of surface coatings.
Floran® Biodegreaser
A nonflammable, water soluble formulation that removes grease and oil deposits from an entire range of industrial, commercial, and municipal equipment. Biodegreaser quickly emulsifies and removes tenacious oil and petroleum residues. Biodegreaser is environmentally safe and will not damage infrastructure surfaces.
Floran® Biogrowth Remover
A liquid, alkaline formulation for removing biomass deposits and residuals from wet or submerged surfaces. Biogrowth Remover is proven to be effective against certain types of biological deposits, which can impede flow through filters and contribute to high bulk water bacterial counts.
Supplemental Products
Blue Earth Products offers Floran® Catalyst for use in conjunction with other Floran surface cleaning and filter rehabilitation products to enhance the effectiveness of cleaning. We also offer pHaze®, pHinish-L®, and pHinish-S® as neutralizing agents to treat acidic runoff generated when applying Floran products.
