Clearitas® is a powerful, liquid formulation of oxidized chlorine engineered to remove organic and inorganic deposits within water distribution systems. The unique oxidizing properties of Clearitas enable it to penetrate and remove the attachment mechanisms that start and hold inorganic and organic matrices together and to surfaces. Clearitas works online in conjunction with a traditional disinfectant.

Clearitas maintains its performance integrity within a wide range of water conditions and removes mineral deposits without changing water corrosivity. With controlled dosing, deposits and scale can be removed slowly without having adverse effects on water quality. Adding Clearitas to water systems will remove scale and deposits within the distribution system. Water treatment with Clearitas also remediates waterborne bacteria issues, enhances traditional disinfectant and sanitizer effectiveness, and improves overall water quality. These results extend system and equipment life and improve overall system performance.

Clearitas’ unique scale removal properties have been validated in a variety of settings including potable water treatment, cooling towers, food processing and bottling facilities, hospitals and various agricultural applications. Clearitas 100

The Clearitas® 100 series is formulated for use in utility drinking water systems. When used in conjunction with a primary disinfectant, Clearitas simultaneously restores chlorine residuals and reduces disinfection by-products by removing organic and inorganic deposits that naturally build in water systems.

Clearitas 200

The Clearitas® 200 series is tailored for scale deposit control in cooling tower systems. Clearitas reduces and controls mineral scale which helps maximize system efficiency, resulting in operational cost savings, energy and water conservation, and improved system performance. Maximum efficiency is critical as water use is a growing concern and water-based cooling towers are being affected by new regulatory standards trying to curb water use. In conjunction with free chlorine, Clearitas also significantly reduces biological contamination, preventing the potential spread of pathogens and bacteria such as Legionella.

Clearitas 300

The Clearitas® 300 series is tailored to control pathogens and bacteria commonly responsible for waterborne illness outbreaks in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Clearitas effectively remediates waterborne pathogens by removing the films and scales that harbor dangerous bacteria allowing them to grow and spread within water systems.

Clearitas 400

The Clearitas® 400 series is tailored for scale removal and deposit control for users in agricultural industries and food processing and bottling manufacturing facilities. Clearitas effectively removes scales, deposits, films, and residues from water systems, equipment, faucets, sprayers, conveyor belts, and other common surfaces. When used in conjunction with other sanitizers and disinfectants, Clearitas ensures cleaner and more efficient environments for food handling and processing.
